The design centre works to a defined process. The lead designer and the team start by exploring the client's needs in depth and identifying the design problems that actually need solving. Planning and confirmation run together, as do designing and talking to the client, so the conceptual scheme is planned, reported and agreed without a gap opening between what was asked for and what is drawn.
